Designing hotel furniture with the help of a specialized CAD program is all about the benefits — fast pace of work, convenience and instant preparation of production documentation. Let’s have a look.
When working on a furniture design, the first step is to save the design. From then on, some of the information is in the database and can be shared with other employees.
A sketch of the room allows you to lay out the development and maintain the correct proportions.
While designing, I can modify components the way I prefer.
I insert subsequent components using smart components from the WOODEXPERT’s library. I can freely modify both the entire assembly and its individual components.
WOODEXPERT allows me to create custom furniture with non-standard shape or application. In this case, the desk or suitcase shelf has specific dimensions and components which can be seamlessly introduced into the design.
As you can see, I use the sketch linear sequence function.
Within a single assembly, I create individual pieces of furniture, including those with larger dimensions.
The component library allows me to choose a variety of solutions: this time I choose sliding doors with ready-made hardware.
The material library contains all the required materials divided according to their format. The material assignment search engine accelerates and optimises the entire process.
I can carry out processing operations at any time, and WOODEXPERT transfers them immediately to the model. I insert more furniture models and proceed to generate documentation. The bill of materials contains any furniture data and dimensions, as well as quantities. We can valuate furniture and download the necessary reports. WOODEXPERT has a function that supports parceling of made furniture — it makes it intuitive and allows you to create different configurations.
Drawings generated within a few seconds contain a sheet with the required production data.
