Component insertion support with OpenGL preview
The process of inserting components in SOLIDWORKS is fun and intuitive, but also time-consuming. With comfort and time in mind, we developed a completely new way to insert library components.
Inserting a component is done using the Insert command located under RMB in the library window. An additional method for inserting a component is a simple LMB double-click.

While inserting a component we will see the Operations and Parameters windows. Thanks to the first tab we will be able to position the component in a simple way, while in the Parameters window we will be able to adjust it appropriately.

The important elements of the operations are the Find Walls function and the component rotation buttons. The first one is responsible for automatically selecting all six limiting planes for the insertion of the component (shortening the insertion time by at least 80%), while the rotation buttons are responsible for the proper positioning of the component, different from the one suggested by the software.
In the parameters of the inserted component, the variables linked to the equations can be freely adjusted at the definition editing level. The whole process ensures intuitive modelling and maximally shortens the time in which all necessary furniture elements can be inserted.
A very important feature of the component insertion process is the OpenGL mode preview (yellow cuboid), allowing to define the space into which the component will be inserted. The preview has been written from scratch by our team of developers and is a tribute to the user who wants to enjoy designing.
